Case study

Internal software I've built

A system that runs the office's document work end to end: files are read and the paperwork is drafted, printed and shipped; service documents are prepared and sent to a process server; and documents are translated for authorities that need them in their own language. The reading, the drafting and the translation run as pipelines and agents, and every value the system fills in is checked by a person before anything goes out.

The overview: what is in each queue, how much is waiting on reading, and what is at the desk right now.
A single job: every section tracks how many fields are filled, and each value the script read carries a citation back to the page it came from.
Dispatching a job: the documents to be served, the service details, and the recipient picked from the office directory.
A case page: the five-stage stepper across the top, and the intake step where files are attached and sent for reading.
Settings: the shared directory of people and addresses that every send screen reads from.

A nutrition tracking app I designed and built end to end: barcode and label scanning, an offline food database, and a diary that stays fast with thousands of entries behind it.
